These terms govern your use of KONTENTS INDEX ("the Service").
1. Purpose
These terms define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the company and users.
2. Definitions
- "Index (KI)" — an objective figure aggregated from public signals (search, news) by our own method.
- "Topicality" — a separate layer reflecting user votes and public buzz.
- "Key" — credits used for Topicality voting; free Keys (from ads/events) and paid Keys (from purchase).
3. Changes
These terms take effect upon posting. We may amend them within the bounds of applicable law, with 7 days' notice.
4. Registration
Users may register via Kakao, Naver, or Google social login.
5. The Service
We provide (i) objective content indices, (ii) Topicality voting, and (iii) Key management. The objective Index (KI) is never moved by votes, payments, or ads — this is our core trust principle.
6. Credits, Payment & Refunds
- Free Keys are granted via ads/events and expire 90 days after issuance.
- Paid Keys may be refunded for unused amounts within 7 days of purchase, per Korea's e-commerce consumer protection law. Free Keys are spent first.
7. User Obligations
Users must not engage in automated fraudulent voting, impersonation, or service interference.
8. Disclaimer
Index data is for reference. We are not liable for force-majeure events or third-party API outages.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
